GOLF CLUB PASSEIER - MERAN:
The previous 9-hole course of the Golf Club Passeier – Meran has been expanded to 18 holes. As a result, a small golf paradise with a high-quality, well-kept facility has emerged in the heart of the Alps.
Due to the ideal climatic conditions the course is playable practically year-round.
In addition to the new facilities, three executive holes for beginners as well as a new driving range with 20 driving tees (of which 10 are covered), practice green and a chipping area were created.
The restaurant in the clubhouse is well-known for its good cuisine and sociable atmosphere.

Golf architect W. Moroder from Bolzano-based MPS Golf Course Design planned the new facility. It is laid out in terraced-form on approx. 60 hectares. Slants and height differences are compensated as a result.
The golf course is harmoniously inserted into the charming countryside, and a series of water obstacles, challenging bunkers as well as new plantings will additionally characterise the course.
Beginners as well as good players will find ideal conditions thanks to the skilful arrangement of the fairways. With an overall length of 5,719 m and par 71, the facility represents a new dimension — not just for conditions in South Tyrol!

At the turn of the century this was the preferred golf area of the Habsburg royal family. The gentle, hilly landscape on the picturesque Nons Valley is reminiscent of Tuscany. Harmoniously embedded in undulating forest terrain, the course offers numerous challenges for all handicaps. A driving range as well as putting and pitching greens complement the course. And the full 18-hole course is in the planning stage.
