A considerable number of pleasant and precious wines "lie dormant" in our wine cellar.

Thanks to much dedication, knowledge and his many years of experience in the world of wines, our headwaiter and wine lover Helmuth Simeoni has already won the trust of many guests who now prefer wine to beer.





The "Starkenberg" gourmet cuisine

Fresh products and light Mediterranean cuisine are an essential basis for all of creations from our culinary team. Exquisite appetisers as well as fish, cheese and dessert buffets alternate with one another. Weekly special features are also conjured up in the evening at our new “show kitchen”.

Salad variations are a prelude to the 5-course menu — and invite guests to have a feast.



Culinary delights at the "Starkenberg"

The “songs of praise” from our regular guests resound in our ear when we express our thanks to Chef Franz. And the praise is unanimous: He gets better every year! (And he can match his culinary skills with Germany’s best cooks).
Chef Franz has been spoiling and surprising our guests for over 20 years — he personally attends to the purchase of the freshest products, and always comes up with something new.

In the meantime, some of his “creations” are already legends.
