Those who have ever been a guest at “Starkenberg” have been pleased with its location. The stream murmurs in a muffled fashion, the castle stands romantically before the backdrop of the three-thousand metre peaks in the Texel Range, and the south-facing panorama extends above the treetops far into the former feudal burgage.
The garden with the palms and the Mediterranean plants becomes a unique enticement with the Panorama open-air swimming pool. Great, this feeling to stand above the daily routine and just to feel good in an atmosphere of friendly elegance.
