You can choose from single and double rooms, Comfort rooms, family rooms and spacious suites for two to five guests.

Yes. Several rooms and suites offer separate areas for families, space for up to five guests and, in some cases, an additional bathroom.

Your room includes high-quality toiletries, a bathrobe, slippers, towels for the wellness area and sunbathing lawn, as well as a minibar.

Yes. A total of 25 rooms are air-conditioned for extra comfort on warm summer days.

Many areas are largely barrier-free. Please note that showers may have a small step. We recommend contacting us before arrival to discuss individual requirements.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

The Starkenberg gourmet half board treats you from morning to evening: with a generous breakfast on the panoramic terrace, a fine afternoon cake buffet from 2:45 pm to 5:00 pm and a daily changing 5-course gourmet dinner menu. A fixed alternative menu, a children’s menu, and vegan or gluten-free dishes on request are also available.

Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. When the weather is fine, you can also enjoy it on the panoramic terrace.

Enjoy regional and seasonal specialities, fresh bread and pastries, cheese and cold cuts, muesli, yoghurt, fresh juices and individually prepared egg dishes.

Yes. From 2:45 pm to 5:00 pm, you can enjoy a cake buffet with homemade cakes and sweet treats.

Dinner is served between 6:45 pm and 8:00 pm. Each evening, you can enjoy a changing five-course dinner menu. Salads, dressings and fine oils are available daily from the buffet. On Tuesdays, we also offer a starter buffet, on Fridays a dessert buffet, and on Saturdays our festive gala dinner begins at 7:00 pm.

Yes. Vegetarian options are part of the menu. Vegan menus and gluten-free meals are gladly prepared on request, and food intolerances are taken into account.

Yes. In the evening, younger guests can choose from a dedicated children’s menu with popular dishes, included with half board.

Yes. The modern, air-conditioned fitness room offers training facilities with panoramic views of Schenna Castle and the garden.

Yes. The beauty department offers massages, body packs, facial treatments and body treatments for an additional charge. Early booking is recommended.

The pools and fitness room are open daily from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The sauna is available daily from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm – perfect for relaxing after an active day.

Yes. Bathrobes and slippers are provided in your room. Towels are also available for the sunbathing lawn and wellness area.

Yes, children are welcome to use the pool and wellness area. For reasons of peace and safety, the sauna area is reserved for guests aged 16 and over.

Yes, non-resident guests can book wellness treatments or a day spa on request. Please contact us directly so that we can check current options and availability for you.

Children staying in a room with full-paying adults benefit from special rates including half board: children up to and including 3 years of age pay €25 per day, children aged 4 to 6 pay €55 per day, children aged 7 to 10 pay €65 per day, and children aged 11 to 16 pay €75 per day.

Yes, dogs are warmly welcome at our hotel. We charge €25 per day, excluding food. During meal times, you are welcome to bring your dog to our dedicated dog-friendly area in the restaurant.

Yes. Families benefit from spacious rooms and suites, attractive children’s rates and a dedicated children’s menu in the evening. We also offer special family packages during selected periods. The currently available benefits and discounts can be found on our offers page.

Yes. From one overnight stay onwards, you receive the South Tyrol Guest Pass Schenna free of charge for your entire stay, including arrival and departure day.

With the South Tyrol Guest Pass, you can use the südtirolmobil public transport network throughout South Tyrol free of charge for the entire duration of your stay. This includes regional and city buses, regional trains and selected cable cars. The digital Guest Pass must be validated before each journey. Long-distance trains such as Railjet, EuroCity, Frecciarossa and Italo are not included.

Yes. A bike rental service is located about 400 metres from the hotel. You can also use the Schenna Tourist Office’s bike programme.

Yes. Bicycle racks are available in our garage for your bicycle or e-bike. E-bikes can be conveniently charged there free of charge using the available power sockets.

Merano is only around five kilometres away and offers historic arcades, museums, the Merano Thermal Baths and the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle.

You can pay in cash, by debit card or by credit card. American Express and Diners Club are not accepted.

Yes. Guests aged 14 and above currently pay a local tourist tax of €3.80 per person per night. It is not included in the room rate and is paid at the hotel.

Yes. We recommend travel cancellation insurance to help protect you from unnecessary costs in the event of an unexpected cancellation.

Yes. Hotel Starkenberg gift vouchers make a wonderful present. They can only be redeemed at the hotel and cannot be exchanged for cash or resold.
